Birthdays, Candles, and Cakes, oh my!

Our summer started with nearly back to back birthday parties. This May was Connor's 3rd birthday. We can't believe how fast three years flew by! So what kind of birthday party did Connor want? A train party of course! Lucky for us Connor owns almost every type of toy train ever invented. We had train sets everywhere for his friends to play with and a Thomas bouncer too. Everyone thought it was so much fun. (When his friends came for playdates after his birthday, I think they expected to see all those trains set up!)

Abby's birthday followed Connor's very quickly. We can't believe our baby girl is already 1! Connor and Abby's Musical Munchkins teacher came over to our house for a special interactive performance for Abby's birthday. Everyone had fun clapping and singing with her guitar! Abby absolutely loves her music class so it was perfect! Abby only "sampled" a few small bites of her cake but Connor had pink frosting all over his face! Birthdays are a lot of fun and we are glad our kids have so many wonderful friends and family to share them with!

So many wonderful moments in so few years! It is such a blessing to see Richard and Katherine's happy family as they grow and enjoy life. How very dear they are to us. Grandma Mary
